What is Value Engineering?

Value Engineering (VE) is an approach of analyzing and designing building systems -- such as HVAC -- to deliver the required performance/output at the lowest possible life-cycle cost.

In terms of HVAC, engineers could examine the system’s AHU components, ductwork, piping, power source, diffusers, and other systems to see how they can lower HVAC operating costs while also ensuring it meets your IAQ and thermal comfort needs.
